Terror Attack From Within Har Habayis, 2 Dead, 1 injured

A terrible terror attack took place this morning when three armed terrorists opened fire from within Har Habayis at police officers stationed at the Lion’s Gate entrance to the mountain.
The incident took place at around 7:10 AM this morning, when three-armed terrorist entered the mountain and opened fire at police officers. The terrorists then fled towards the Mosques on Har Habayis, with police hot on their trail. A fire fight broke out and B’’H security officers managed to neutralize and kill all three terrorists.
Three people were injured in the attack, two of them critically and later died of their injuries. A third person was moderately injured and was transferred to the hospital for treatment.



A dramatic video has emerged showing one of the terrorist laying on the ground presumably dead, surrounded by many security officers.
The terrorist can then be seen getting up and attempting to flee the scene. The many security officers present, opened fire from point blank range and killed the terrorist before he could get away.

Yechiel Stern, an ‘Ichud Hatzalah’ volunteer who treated the victims said, “when I arrived on the scene I assisted with admitting CPR on one of the critically injured who was (already) transferred to the hospital. Other members of ‘Ichud Hatzalah’ are currently performing lifesaving treatment on another injured who is not conscious. As well, we administered first aid to a third injured who was in light to moderate condition”.

“From my house window, I heard gun shots coming from Har Habayis”, Says Nidal Sadar, a member of ‘Ichud Hatzalah East’ (Arab Unit) who lives at the entrance to Har Habayis.
“I went outside, boarded my ‘Ichud Hatzalah’ motorcycle, and the police agreed to let me into the scene. Together with members from the ‘Red Crescent’, I administered CPR in the yard leading up to Har Habayis, and later we were joined by police medical teams and additional ‘Ichud Hatzalah members’”.

Following the incident, security forces have evacuated Har Habayis, and have canceled all Friday prayers for Muslims on Har Habayis.
