Many of Netanyahu’s opponents like to paint him as a spoiled and lust-chasing leader. It turns out, that when there is no other choice he knows how to be ‘Mistapek Bamuat’, and even sleep on the floor of an airplane for many hours.

According to a report from ‘NRG’ news, prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu slept on the floor of a Boeing 737 which took off from Israel on Motzei Shabbos en-route to France; where Netanyahu met with Frances new PM Emanuel Macron.

The phenomena was a result of a technical difficulty which did not permit for a bed to be installed on the 737 airplane placed at the service of the PM and his entourage.

A Boeing 737 is considered to be a relatively small plane, making it more difficult to install a bed on board.

In spite of the busy summer travel season, an alternative plane could not be found and the PM was forced to use the designated 737.

Despite the fact that Netanyahu suffers from backpains, he slept on the floor of the plane on the way to France, offering the reporters traveling with him, an interesting scoop into his simplicity when there is a need for it.

As previously reported, after a short delay, the finance committee, headed by MK Moishe Gafne, approved the purchase of a new airplane for the PM use, at the worth of 182 million NIS. In the meantime, Netanyahu will have to continue using the service of El Al and perhaps sleep on the floor from time to time.

The details of this story were confirmed by the PM spokesman.
