Rebbetzin Gutt’e Perel Grossman was nifteres on Friday night at the age of 89 ● The Rebbetzin stood by her husband HaRav Yisrael Grossman zt”l side for tens of years ● Great generations following in her footsteps

Baruch Dayan HaEmes: Rebbetzin Gutt’e Perel Grossman A”H , was nifteres on Friday night in the Shaarei Tzedek hospital at the age of 89.
During the last month the Rebbetzin was hospitalized after suffering from a heart condition. In the last few days her condition has deteriorated and on Friday night she passed away.
The Rebbetzin A”H was born in Yerushalayim to her father HaRav Yosef Gutfarb ZT”L.
The Rebbetzin A”H stood beside her great husband, HaRav Yisroel Grossman zt”l Rosh Yeshiva, Pinsk-Karlin Yeshiva and a member of Moetzes Gdolei HaTorah, (who passed away on the 23rd of Addar 5767), giving him the ability to study Torah and give Shiurim with peace of mind.
Even when there was hardly bread in their house, the Rebetzin was always smiling and raised her children in a small one and a half room apartment in Batei Warsha in Yerushalaim happily. Her home was known for its warmth and was always open to guests, as many broken hearted knew that they always had a place to go, no matter what time of day or night.
Until her latest years the Rebbetzin never missed a day davening at the Kotel, as she used to do since the Kotel was conquered during the six day war. On Shobbos she would daven in the Ezras Nashim of the Pinsk Karlin’s Bais Medrash.
The Rebbetzin was always helping kallas, ba’alei teshuva, geiros and orphans. Many would come to receive her blessings.
Rebbetzin Grossman left great generations who follow in her footsteps. Her sons are: Harav Yitzchak Dovid, the Rav of Migdal Haemek, Harav Ben Tzion, Harav Yakov, Harav Zalman, from the management Migdal Ohr, Harav Eliezer, Rosh Yeshiva K’tana Migdal Ohr, and Harav Yosef.
Her sons in law are: Harav Naftali Nussbaumb, Rosh Yeshiva Yeshivas Chayei Moshe in Yerushalayim, Dayan Harav Shmuel Tzvi Fried, Harav Ben Tzion Liebowitz, princable of Viznits school in Yerushalayim and Harav Baruch Luria.
The levaya will leave tonight (Motzei Shobbos) at 10:30 from Shamgar funeral home in Yerushalayim to Har Hazeitim.
