Deceivers ‘R’ US

The flourishing and busy industry of ‘Pollywood’ is well documented. For many years now, perhaps as long as the conflict itself, ‘Pollywood’ has been playing a very active role in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

From mock injuries, to staged deaths, ‘Pollywood’ portrays the Arab view of the middle east conflict. The Palestinian-Arab video industry has justly earned its prestigious name, after producing some very convincing works of the terrible atrocities committed by Israel.

For years the industry has been decimating false stories and intentionally perverting the facts about the conflict.

Although the BBC and other news outlets intentionally miss report or ignore certain stories, they don’t go so far as fabricating and setting up false scenarios.
Not so in ‘Pollywood’, that is their specialty.

Arab news crews request people to lie on stretchers as if injured, and then have the man’s friends run with him in front of the camera portraying another Israeli atrocity towards the poor and innocent Palestinian people.

Mock funerals have also been documented by Israeli drones. In one instance, the cameras show the supposedly dead victim falling off the stretcher. The drone’s cameras clearly captured the dead person standing up and getting back into the stretcher for the duration of his funeral.


The recent protests on Har HAbayis produced its own share of ‘Pollywood’ productions. A clip emerged showing people carrying a supposedly injured rioter on a stretcher. After the event was documented the injured man and those assisting him just disperse and leave the area.

Although generalizing is usually incorrect when terming an entire society, this recent video argues that the exception has been found.
