Tragedy in Jerusalem: Mrs. Esther Davidovich a"h, who was nine months pregnant died as a result of toxemia. Despite the efforts, the fetus did not survive and he died too.
The deceased a"h, 40, mother of 12 children, lost consciousness at 6:00 am and was transferred to the medical center of Shaarei Tzedek. During resuscitation she was transferred to the operating room because a chance arose to save the life of the fetus, but unfortunately he was rescued dead.
The deceased a"h, belonged to the Dushinsky chassidus. Her eldest daughter, aged 18, recently got engaged and will marry in the summer. Her father is R' Shimon Weiss, Chairman of the Eda Haredis.
The Shaare Zedek Medical informed: "Around 6:00 this morning we received notice of a transfer of a woman who was about to deliver, from her home, after CPR and lifeless. At 6:30 am the woman arrived at the trauma room, where a dedicated team awaited her.
"As mentioned, after resuscitation and lifeless. While rendering resuscitation she was transferred into the operating room since a certain FHR was observed. In a Caesarean section a dead fetus was extracted. Meanwhile, resuscitation efforts continued for the mother. Unfortunately without success. The staff's estimation is that patient died at home of amniotic fluid embolism .
Notice was given to the Ministry of Health as usual."
Her funeral left at 13:15 from the Beis Midrash Hagadol of Dushinsky on Shmuel Hanavi Street, to Har Hamenuchos, where she was buried.
