Tragedy in Antwerp: Moshe Alvitzky z"l died in his prime at the age of 21 years.
The deceased is the son of renowned activist of Agudat Yisrael Rabbi Yaakov Alvitzky, a leading charity supporter and supporter of Etz Chaim Yeshiva and Billerica.
Hundreds of members of the community in Antwerp accompanied the deceased to rest. He was known for his prayer and despite his pain did not give up any prayers and studied with gusto.
His father, Rabbi Yaakov gave up his like for him. On Sunday he suffered a stroke from which he did not recover and died today - the seventeenth of Tammuz.
He was eulogized by community Rabbis, Rabbi Aaron Schiff, and Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yehudah Trager.
