London police continue to investigate the allegations against Rabbi Chaim Halperin - head of Congregation Divrei Chaim, Golders Green in London - although there were no criminal complaints against him.
Rabbi Halperin, son of Hgr"e Halperin, one of the most prominent rabbis in England, is suspected of violation of women who came to him for advice in matters of shalom bayis. Allegations against him were almost a year ago, and the police investigation is underway for four months.
However, all police attempts to recruit incriminating evidence against Rabbi Halperin - failed. This is because victims are afraid of suffering by the ultra-Orthodox community in the city, after it announced that it will handle complaints through a special tribunal.
Police investigators will continue to work over the next month and a half, according to the court decision.
So too, they will continue to investigate the suspicion against the brother of Rabbi Halperin - Rabbi David Halperin, head of community in Hendon, two activists, Gavriel Ost - leader of the Shomrim in Golders Green, and Alexander Strom.
Following the decision to continue the investigation of the four conditions of release will continue. And also the high financial guarantee deposited with the police for all of those involved, will stay with the police until the end of the investigation.
