Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: in France, the great educator, Mrs. Sarah Halpern a"h, passed away.
The deceased was born to her father Rabbi Chaim Schwartz a"h, and her mother Mrs. Chaya a"h.
Throughout the years she was the right hand of her husband Rabbi Chaim Halpern ybl"t, head of institutions Ohr Yosef Novardok in France, under the presidency of Hagaon Hatzadik R' Gershon Liebman zt"l, who breathed Torah in the wilderness of France.
She set up a glorious home, leaving children and grandchildren engaged in Torah and Mitzvos.
All her life she educated Jewish girls in the spirit of our tradition, in the difficult spiritual conditions of France.
Her coffin will arrive tomorrow in Israel, and her funeral will leave at 10:00 am from the funeral home Shamgar in Jerusalem on its way to Mount of Rest, where she will be buried.
Her husband ybl"t, sons and daughters will sit shiva in her son's home, Rabbi Israel Halperin, on 27/20 Givat Shaul Street, Jerusalem.
May her soul be bound in the bond of life.
