President Shimon Peres held a telephone conversation before Shabbos with President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski.
In the conversation President Peres turned to Polish President and expressed his hope that they way will find the way to allow ritual slaughter in Poland, according to Jewish law.
Request of President Peres to the Polish President, was due to legislation recently passed in the state, banned the killing of animals in the way that is held under kosher slaughter.
