Friedman supports Gaza: "against massacre of people and children"
'Neturei Karta' man of Antwerp did not hesitate to meet with the representatives of the Muslim Conference for fundraising and support for victims of Gaza

There was a dialogue between me and Sheich Suleiman Vaan Al, who is an active politician and is considered a moderating factor in Antwerp. To this conference only intellectuals and senior opinion leaders were invited, one of them knows me, he pulled out a keffiyeh and suggested I dress it up on my neck, but I refused," says Friedman to Behadrey Haredim.
"They asked me what I think about what is happening in Gaza, the murder of children. All the awful pictures that come out of there, if it is not painful for me to see these innocent people bleeding, I told them I did not want to get involved in politics, but I am against the slaughter of people and children. One should collect money for drugs and supplies for the children of Gaza, Children should not suffer because of political territorial disputes. I told them that I'm against murder and bloodshed, and I support giving humanitarian aid.
"Later they asked me about education, and if I think that Muslims also deserve private schools as the Haredim have in Antwerp. Told them I definitely think they deserve their own schools, provided it is not controlled by the 'Sheraya', the radical Muslim circle. The truth is this conference was organized by several organizations for fundraising for the Muslims in Gaza, and I was invited to the conference to represent the Jewish side."
Friedman further argues: "I know many Haredi leaders who would like to meet with Muslim religious leaders, but the Muslims do not want to meet them. I know that the leaders of the community in Antwerp envy me because public status I have, a lot of them would like to have my public status. Since the war began I was invited to many conferences, for example they pressured me to come to the pro Palestinian demonstration held yesterday in Rotterdam, Holland attended by thousands of people, but I refused."
