Saif's family visited today (Thursday), the synagogue and the bereaved families in Har Nof.

The family of the late Druze policeman Zidane Saif, who was killed when his body blocked the perpetrators of the massacre in Har Nof, today visited Har Nof. They visited the bereaved families, and the family of Shmuel Goldstein, who was seriously injured in the incident.

The family first visited the Bnei Torah synagogue, where their son fell, and uncle of Saif also said a prayer for his son and the kadoshim. "Our Prophet, the Prophet Yithro connects us to the Jewish people," he said.

Then, Saif's widow met with the widows of the kadoshim hy"d, so too they visited the family of Moshe Goldtsein and his children gave Saif's widow paintings, and family members read a letter from the wounded father, the patient who is still in the hospital, with a description of the sequence of the event.

"The officer actually saved my life," he wrote. "All who saves one life like he saved an entire world - and certainly the policeman who saved 20 or 30 people who were lying on the floor, and did not know if this is their end or not. They planned to finish the job, God forbid, and because the policeman killed them they all survived.

The family also visited the Community Council, and participated in the inauguration ceremony of an ambulance of MDA –Hachovesh Har Nof.

Druze officer's widow thanked the families which the Saif family received from the Har Nof neighborhood residents.

When the inaugurated ambulance was unveiled no eye was left dry, as the names of the kadoshim were revealed engraved on the ambulance, about ten days after the deadly attack. The ambulance will serve the MDA – Hachovesh Har Nof.
Har Nof success in saving lives in Har Nof and the surroundings.

During the event, certificates were distributed to dozens of volunteers for their excellence and for risking their lives to save the injured at the scene in the synagogue.

The ceremony was attended by Rabbi of the synagogue Yitzhak Mordechai HaCohen Rubin, Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Rishon Lezion Shlomo Amar Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and MDA Director Eli Bin.
