Back then Lapid Refused to Sell Chometz, Now He Comes to Kimcha D’Pischa
Yair Lapid joined Harav Grossman, Rav of Migdal Haemek in Northern Israel to help prepare packages for the needy for Pesach.

This is the 13th year of Rag Grossman’s program called, “Chag Sheva L’Yiladim” in which he distributes 20, 000 food packages. His program calls upon volunteers from all over the Jewish spectrum including, IDF soldiers, thousands of students of the Migdal Ohr school system and leading food companies.
During his visit Harav Grossman said,” I have no words with which to thank Yair Lapid for coming to our “Chag Sheva “campaign. I believe that the fact the entire community has gathered here, datim, chilonim, Ashkenazim, Sefardim is a manifestation of Am Yisrael’s true nature- V’ahavta L’reicha Kamocha.
MK Yair Lapid said, “Harav Grossman should be blessed for {running} this wonderful organization. I see all these wonderful Jews sho don’t ask themselves,” What tribe to I belong to or with which group do I associate , or which political party am I part of? The only thing they ask is’ What do my fellow Jews need before the chag’? And they come and pack and do a great Mitzvah, that all of us are happy to do together.”
Lapid added,” this country has spent weeks keeping busy with hatred, but we must be busy with love. We need to be busy with what we really are, and with what the State of Israel truly is- which is giving, strength and love. And to know that we are really all responsible for one another. That’s why I came here today.”
