Satmar Rebbe Mentions FBI During Shabbos
The Satmar Rebbe announced Thursday that there would be an emergency gathering on Shabbos afternoon in the Beis Medresh Hagadol in Kiryas Yoel in the wake of the recent tragedy.

The Satmar Rebbe announced Thursday that there would be an emergency gathering on Shabbos afternoon in the Beis Medresh Hagadol in Kiryas Yoel in the wake of the recent tragedy.
The Rebbe said," there are Rosh Kehila, gabaim and the heads of mosdos that do what they need to do and must be listened to. If anyone has anything to say they should speak to the leaders and not cause an uproar.
"Today everything gets to the media. Even now as I speak on Shabbos I am taking into account that I may be secretly recorded, and my speech given over to the media."
He also mentioned the recent uproar over recently publicized video. "Everyone knows that there was a story. I do not want to elaborate because I do not want the FBI to show up at my house tomorrow but I will tell a different story. There was a principal who missed zman kriyas shema and someone began to instigate people against him. He spread ice around his house in the middle of the night. All the newspapers wrote about it, until the avenging angels came to the cheider, frightened everyone and interrogated everyone. Everything began with one instigator who wanted to get everyone talking. In this sort of thing one needs to go to the administration. "
Later he said that in the wake of the tragedy a new Rosh Kahal will be appointed in Williamsburg.
