The battle over allowing women to use the "Derech Mehadrin" path in Meiron continues.
The legal advisor of the Ministry of Religion, Attorney Yisrael Pat sent a letter today to Mordechai Halperin, head of the Yishuv Meiron, letting him know that he does not accept his "no women" stance regarding the "Derech Mehadrin".
Haperin responded," Lag Baomer is not Purim!!! Come here and try to bring women on "Derech Mehadrin". Keep yourself busy with practical and real matters."
