Yoelish Krois, operations officer of the Eida Chareidis
Baruch Dayan Hae'mes: On Tuesday, Harav Hachashuv R' Alter Avrohom Moshe Krois z"l was niftar in Jerusalem, 63 years old.
About a year and a half ago, he was diagnosed with the terrible disease.
Two months ago, after a long series of check-ups, he asked to return to his home as he wished to pass away at home and not in hospital.
The deceased z"l lived on Chanan st, as a neighbor of Harav Eliyashiv shlit"a, and was one of the honorable people of Yerusalayim. He printed a few editions of the Zohar and Tikunei Zohar with the commentary of the Streshler Rebbe zt"l.
The deceased fixed his place of prayer and learning at the large Beis Midrash of the Toldos Aharon Chassidus in Yerushalayim.
A Toldos Aharon Chossid with whom we talked this morning, told Behadrei Hareidim: "The pain is great, we are talking of a real "Chossid" in his being, he would stand at the Tishim of the Rebbe of Toldos Aharon , the Divrei Emunah zt"l, for hours on end, and was his right hand, even the present Rebbe honored him greatly."
He was the son-in-law of the elderly Rav Hachashuv R' Moshe Stern יבלחט"א and the brother-in-law of Harav Hatzadik R' Avrohom Yurowitz zt"l – the Rav of Chassidei Vitefsk in Jerusalem.
He left behind a wide extended family. His son is R' Yoelish Krois, who is the operation officer of the Eida Chareidis.
His levaya left yesterday (Tues.) at 14:00 from the Toldos Aharon Beis Midrash in the Meah Shearim neighborhood, to Har Hazeisim, where he was buried.
May his soul be cherished for eternal life.
