A New state joined the UN ranks last night: State of Palestine.

A huge majority of 138 in favor, compared with only nine against and 41 abstentions, member states voted in favor of the Palestinian authority owner to a status of a country with a right to have an observer at the UN, but still not a company.

Abu Maazan made sure to provide a hate speech attack prior to the vote: "The Palestinians are recovering from the Nakba of 48, they want to return the attendance taken from them, that reality which we were expelled from our land, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were expelled from their homes - and since they live far from their homeland. They were thrown from a thriving place to a refugee camp, one of the most horrific moves of ethnic cleansing in modern history, "he accused.

In a thick hint to Israeli arguments by which he cannot control the West Bank, let alone Gaza in the hands of Hamas, he commented: "The PLO throughout this period was the sole representative of the Palestinian people, the body which actually continued the revolution and the struggle to get the current status."

However, the United States stood by Israel's side overwhelmingly, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, explained the American position: "The way to a two-state solution - that will fulfill the aspirations of the Palestinian people - through Jerusalem and Ramallah, is not through New York. We oppose the Palestinian attempt to upgrade their status at the United Nations which is not in negotiations."

States that supported the Israeli position and opposed the declaration: United States, Canada, the Czech Republic, Panama, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau and Nauru.

History will judge

"History will judge", said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in response to the Palestinian Authority's acceptance for a UN observer state.

In response to Maazan's speech the Prime Minister's Office said that "the world viewed a venom dripping hate speech, and full of false propaganda against the IDF and Israeli citizens. This is not how a person who wants peace speaks."

Soon after Israeli ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor carried out his speech; he spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who praised the speech. "I'm proud of you. You represented the truth of the State of Israel. It was a speech of facts opposite a venom dripping speech of Abu Maazan".

Immediately upon receipt of the decision, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "nine countries align themselves with the truth and with peace. History will judge them favorably and worthy of all praise."

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who is currently in New York but chose not to come to the rally, said that "the speech of Abu Maazan proved once again, if proof was even needed, that this is an enemy who has no desire or intention for peace. His hate speech is the best explanation why as long as Maazan is the head of the Palestinian people, not only will he not bring progress to his people, but he will continue to use them for his personal needs, make them suffer and remove any peace settlement."

The Right-wing of course condemned the decision.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin said, "Abu Maazan's footsteps and international compliance to his requirements will lead to a difficult political deterioration."

"These pressure levers will do nothing because they cannot replace the need to talk to us and recognize us as a people with a right to the land. Declaration of the General Assembly has no legal consequences. It was meant to create provocation and not promoting the relations between the parties. Those who ignored our existence then and received a unilateral decision to approve the partition plan on 29th November, 1947 are repeating the same mistake in a unilateral decision to approve the partition plan in 2012. It will be a mistake that will not strengthen our relationship."

Moshe Feiglin, said: "The problem is not the United Nations. The problem is here among us. We have to immediately cancel the Oslo Accords. We have to return and show our loyalty fully all around the country and first and foremost to restore the full and exclusive sovereignty of the State of Israel on the Temple Mount."

Chairman of 'Otzmah L'Yisrael', MK Aryeh Eldad said that "Rabin said a Palestinian state can only be established on the ruins of the State of Israel. MK Michael Ben Ari and I have come here today in a symbolic step to burn the Palestinian flag, the flag of the PLO, and let the world know: there will be no Palestinian state in Israel!"

The one who welcomed the approval of the Palestinian state as an observer is chairman of Meretz, Zahava Gal-On who said: "Now, that a Palestinian state has been established, it is time to establish the Israeli partner. This is our opportunity to conduct negotiations with the Palestinians by diplomacy and ambassadors which will bring an end to the conflict, and not by generals and guns, which will only perpetuate it.
