A 19-year-old yeshiva student was attacked tonight (Wednesday), near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, when he was on his way to the Western Wall.
MDA drive 'rescue team' arrived on the scene and gave him first aid assistance. His condition is set as easy.
The youngster said he was attacked by three young Palestinians who tried to harm him. He was slightly injured in his eye and the three fled the scene.
Shmulik Ben Ruby, Jerusalem police spokesman, told Behadrey Haredim: "A young Hareidi was attacked by several Arabs in the Nablus Gatearea, but there was no need to evacuate him to the hospital."
Border Police forces and police began searching for those involved.
