Obama: If Iran will stitch agreement - we will toughen sanctions

U.S. President Barack Obama said tonight (Saturday), that if Iran violates the agreement they will intensify the sanctions against them.
Obama spoke at the Saban and explained that "the security interest of the United States, not only of Israel, is to prevent Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, I'm not taking any option off the table, but we must examine implementation of a diplomatic solution to the issue. We are not weakening the main sanctions, but open a controllable window, which can be closed. Should Iran fail to comply with the agreement, we will return the clock back in terms of sanctions. "

"The sanctions have been proven effective because we made them, but we should always examine the alternative diplomatic solution: the thought that the Iranian people, its leaders, or even moderate men succumbs to increasing pressure does not reflect a true understanding of what is happening in the country. They must walk the path that provides them an honorable solution to their situation."
"We took Netanyahu's red line down to zero. Agreement with Iran is based on trust, but ultimately, my goal as President of the United States is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons," he explained. "I said again and again that my preferred way is a diplomatic agreement which is comprehensive and binding. What we can get in this path is greater than what we achieve in the second option."

" Netanyahu and I consulted all the time," he added, "During the past five years. Military cooperation of the United States with Israel has never been stronger. This also includes intelligence cooperation. Our support for Israel's security has never been stronger. I have often seen things differently than Netanyahu, which is understandable. Israel cannot let external contractors handle its security, but tactically should examine the Iranians and perhaps it may lead to an agreement."
U.S. President also referred to negotiations with the Palestinians and declared that "there are young people I met both in Israel and the Palestinian Authority who want to get out of this history and look for a different future. Whether we could create pathway to peace, even if initially limited to the West Bank, to be a model for young Palestinians in Gaza who can look at it and say to themselves that this is what a life of dignity and self-determination is about, the booming economy and trade develops, the West Bank because they knew to create an environment in which Israel felt intimidated. Palestinians need to understand to be a transition period, and that the Israeli public would not want Gaza back to the West.
Obama added: "We know what the core issues are: borders, security, Jerusalem and refugees. There are not many secrets and surprises at this point. We know the contours of a peace agreement are possible. Question is if both parties are willing to take the difficult political risks involved. I think it is possible that within a few months we'll meet a certain framework which will not meet all the details, but will bring us to the point where everyone will recognize that it is better to move forward than to back. This will require very tough decisions."
