Prepare for Adar Alef: Malchus campaign gets underway

As already reported in B'Chadrei Charedim a few months ago, a Malchus journey will be held by the Satmar Rebbe in Israel, and he will stay for about two weeks.

Rebbe is coming for the family wedding of Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Meisels, head of the Satmar yeshiva in Bnei Brak and son-law of Rabbi of Satmar Boro Park, which will be held on Thursday 28th Adar alef at a hall in Petah Tikva.

Center of the journey includes two major events: the status cornerstone to the new building to build a school in Bnei Brak, and status housewarming new building Talmud Torah in Jerusalem, the construction of which is nearing completion these days.

Recall, almost two years ago, during the visit of the Rebbe in Israel, the Rebbe told followers after lobbying and efforts were contributing generosity agreed to help finance the purchase of plot on which the new building will be built to the school building.
Members of the institutions in the country worked to find a compound as soon as possible, despite the difficulties and shortage of vacant lots, and lack due to the many yeshivas and kollelim which do not allow construction of a school building nearby for reasons of modesty. Eventually an appropriate compound was found- in Zichron Meyer, and was bought on Isru Chag of Shavuos.

The plan is that the Rebbe will come to Israel on the wedding day - Thursday morning, and will remain in Bnei Brak until Monday night, and then he will go for three days to Jerusalem – where he will stay until Thursday evening.

Satmar argue that currently it has not been decided whether the Rebbe will remain in Israel an additional Shabbos, or return to the U.S. on Thursday. According to sources in the chassidus, the full schedule will be published in the next two weeks.
