BDE: Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Zelinger passed away at the age of 70
Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Zelinger Rosh Yeshiva of Kamenetz in the US and a person who had a close connection to Rav Schach and the Steipler passed away

Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Zelinger was among the greatest Torah leaders in the US and known for his close connection to Gedolim.
Rav Zelinger helped help with the founding of "Yated Neeman" Thirty years ago and was appointed by Rav Schach as a member of the of the newspapers association.
He was the Rosh Yeshiva of Kamenetz in Brooklyn for many years, where he spread Torah and taught many Talmidim.
His Talmidim, say to "Bechadrei Charedim" that every visit to Eretz Yisroel he regularly came to Gedolim for Brachos and to consult with them.
Rav Selinger has a brother, Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Zelinger in New York.
The Body will be brought to Eretz Yisroel. The Levaya will take place tomorrow (Monday) and he will be buried in Har Hazeisim
