President trump’s son in law Jared Kushner, and American special representative for international negotiation Jason Greenblatt, visited Israel yesterday to try and restart peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians-Watch

President Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner left Israel last night after a 24-hour lightning visit to the region, to try and boost the newly initiated peace talks. Kushner was joined by American special representative for international negotiations Jason Greenblatt, who came along to assist in the talks.



The two met with prime minister Netanyahu yesterday and discussed matters pertaining the peace in the region. The new american ambassador to Israel David Friedman was also present at the meeting.

At the opening of the meeting netanyahu told Kushner: This is an opportunity to achieve common goals for the U.S. and Israel. Security growth and peace . I appreciate your effort and also the Presidents, and I am looking forward to working together with you to achieve peace, because now there is an opportunity”.

After the meeting between kushner and Netanyahu, the white house released a statement saying: “Achieving peace will take time, there is great significance in creating an atmosphere that contributes to peace”.

Later on in the day, Kushner and Greenblatt hopped over to Ramallah where they met with chairman of the palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas. According to a Reuters report,
the conversation was hard and tense, the two asked Abbas to stop inciting for terror and to immediately ceases paying the families of terrorists who are jailed in Israel.

The palestinians reacted that that there is no incitement going on, and Netanyahu convinced them that there is incitement amongst the Palestinian Arabs.

According to the report, Greenblatt was furious and insisted that payment to terrorists and their familie stop. The Palestinians responded that “there is no chance that it will happen”.

In addition they also requested to Freeze construction in the territories.
