The Knesset plenum has approved the Law for Mikvaot submitted by MK Moshe Gafni in its first vote, 28 to 18. Shas MKs were not present during the vote and their votes were offset. Gafni: “Mashiach can come. I’ve been in the Knesset for 27 years, and I don’t recall that Meretz ever helped the battle for mikvah.”
